The Hamamatsu R6427 is a high-sensitivity, head-on type photomultiplier tube (PMT) with a bialkali photocathode, optimized for ultraviolet (UV) to visible light detection. It is widely used in low-light-level measurement, spectroscopy, and scientific research due to its high quantum efficiency and low noise performance.
